day 35! shida

Gaaaaaah!! Shortest post yet. Today was almost a complete carbon copy of yesterday. Sunny/hot day. Stayed indoors during the day to escape the heat. Went out at night to forage for food.

Annnnnddd yesterday I took a chance on a tshirt (even though I never wear tshirts), and I actually kind of liked it. :) And they're only 100nt (~$3) since they're meant as sort of..undershirts? Not undershirts, but they're very plain colored, so it's mainly for layering. For me though it's all I can buy cuz it's the only non flowery, non silky, non frilly, normal looking thing that I can bring back home to wear.

So I got the shirt and liked it, and you guessed it! They had a billion colors. So I wanted to get more. :)

Annnnnnd...you guessed it..........I got the wrong brand. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!???!!? lol. Fortunately the new ones looked fine, but I liked the old one cuz of the wider neck it had, and these aren't like that. X< So....I will...have to go back. But seriously Taipei you need to do something about this....twenty-thousand-variations-of-the-same-style situation. Seriously how does anyone get anything done around here????

All the people shopping here are pretty much college students. :) And girls. Lots better for people watching! Worse for food. But they have my beloved guabao.

And a passionfruit juice. :)

Oh. They also have lots of little cardigans here. They're nice cuz they're really thin (actually I like how all the outerwear here is pretty thin, cuz I don't do well with heat) and there're lots of styles/colors (long, short, small cables, plain) and no matter what style they're pretty much all 250nt (~$8) across the board. Not super great quality but I'm not planning to run any marathons in them....

They're really useful here though, cuz I sort of feel like people...cover up here? Like, you do see a lot of young people dressing a bit more trashy but if I went out in shorts and a tank top I would feel super slutty. O_o Even though it's pretty normal at home. People do wear shorts a lot, but tank tops...less so. So anyway kids the moral of the story is: cover up, don't be a slut. :D

I'm just trying to fill space. So it doesn't look like I didn't do anything today. Which I didn't.
